Bedford Volunteer Awards

The Bedford Volunteer Awards Committee is preparing to recognize Bedford’s many volunteers.

We know that there are many volunteers in your organization that deserve to be recognized. Your organization may nominate your selected volunteer for recognition by filling out our online nomination form.   We have also added a category for youth volunteers (ages 13-19).

The volunteer nominated should exemplify service to your organization over an extended period of time.   Also, remember to include other organizations in which they have volunteered  and perhaps have held offices.  Please include dates of their service if at all possible.  It is important that we recognize all community service and the valuable contributions made by our volunteers.

The committee will recognize all the nominees and the organizations they represent at a reception to be held at Lions Den, 36 Holland Avenue, Bedford on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

All nominees will be recognized and honored for their service to our community.
Two nominees will be selected (one adult and one youth) as Volunteer/s of the year and the name/s forwarded to the Province for further recognition during Provincial Volunteer Week.

We look forward to your participation in this annual recognition of Bedford Volunteers.
